Holiday cottage Rozenvlucht is situated in the small village of Linden, in the province Noord-Brabant. Linden is a kind of peninsula, in the middle of the recreation area the Kraaijenbergse Lakes. The cottage is situated on a dead end road, on a large plot of 2.700 m2 and, thanks to that, it is a wonderfully quiet spot. It has a lovely large garden, so your privacy is assured.

The Kraaijenbergse Lakes is a popular destination for tourists and day trippers. The water sport area covers some 400 hectares and was created by sand and gravel extraction. Around the lakes, you will find an area of outstanding natural beauty, perfect for cyclists and walkers.

There is a large beach, with facilities for rowing and surfing, and there are plenty of opportunities for sailing and rowing, or to make a nice trip in a canoe in the nature area around the Kraaijenbergse Lakes. Of course, the lakes also offer opportunities for fishing.

In Linden is a marina – and also a port for passers-by, because the Lakes are directly connected to the river Maas, - with over 200 mooring spaces.

About 4 kilometres from Linden, on the bank of the river Maas, you find the larger village Cuijk (almost 25,000 residents). The main centre offers plenty of pleasant shops. Besides a wide choice of restaurants and bars, there is also a theatre where you can enjoy nice shows, with or without theatre-dinner. In Cuijk, you also find the family park Dippie Doe and an indoor swimming pool.

Just across the river Maas, lies the beautiful Mookerheide. It is an area ideal for walking and for cycle tours. The other side of the Maas can be reached by ferry. Daily, it sails from 7.00 to  21.00 hours (during winter to 19.00 hours).
